Microsoft 365 Personal is $99.99 a year, or $9.99 a month, which comes to $119.88 over twelve months. It carries “1 TB (1000 GB) of secure cloud storage” for one person.
On storage alone that is $99.99 per terabyte per year — the most expensive terabyte in this category, and roughly five times the per-terabyte rate of the Family plan sitting next to it on Microsoft’s own page. The gap between the two is $30 a year. If two people in a household want a terabyte each, Family is cheaper than two Personals by a wide margin, and it is cheaper than one Personal plus almost any second subscription.
Microsoft also sells a Basic tier at $19.99 a year for 100 GB, which is $199.90 per terabyte per year and the worst rate we recorded anywhere.
The plan page says the subscription automatically renews unless cancelled, without stating a renewal price.
