What streaming costs a year in 2026
Every major service, its ad tier, its ad-free tier, the annual option where one exists, and what it renews at. Prices read from the vendors' own pages on 22 August 2026.
The Disney+ plan picker at disneyplus.com/welcome/filter-plans — read on 20 August 2026.
This is the rarest thing on the streaming ledger: a price with a footnote attached to it. Disney+ advertises the Disney+ and Hulu bundle at $11.99 a month, and the double-dagger next to that figure resolves to for the first six months. After six months it is $12.99 a month.
A dollar is not a scandal. What matters is that Disney is the only company in this category that shows an introductory price at all, which makes it the only one whose renewal column can carry a number instead of a shrug.
The other thing worth knowing: on the day we checked, Disney’s plan picker would not sell you Disney+ on its own. Every tile on the page was a bundle. The cheapest route to Disney+ that Disney itself displays is this one, and it comes with Hulu whether that is what you wanted or not.

This is a price record, not a review. We do not rate the product, we track what it charges. The method is on how we check prices; mistakes end up in the corrections log.
