“Not published” means we did not find a renewal price stated by the vendor on the date we checked. It is not a claim that the price changes on renewal, and it is not a claim that it doesn’t.

Apple Fitness+ is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. Twelve monthly payments come to $119.88, so the annual plan saves $39.89, and there is no version of this where paying monthly for a full year makes sense.

The free month is a trial, not a tier. When it ends the service stops, and buying certain Apple devices extends the offer to three months rather than converting it into anything permanent.

What it is not is a hardware lock. Fitness+ runs on an iPhone 8 or later, and an Apple Watch adds live metrics rather than acting as a key. Cancel and the watch keeps every function it had — the thing you stop receiving is a class library, which is the cleanest kind of subscription to leave. The bill is the whole relationship.

Where we have written about this

This is a price record, not a review. We do not rate the product, we track what it charges. The method is on how we check prices; mistakes end up in the corrections log.
