What music streaming costs a year

“Not published” means we did not find a renewal price stated by the vendor on the date we checked. It is not a claim that the price changes on renewal, and it is not a claim that it doesn’t.
Amazon Music Unlimited raised prices in 2026. Individual went from $11.99 to $12.99 a month for customers without Prime, and from $10.99 to $11.99 for Prime members. Family went from $19.99 to $21.99 a month, and the annual family plan from $199 to $219.
At $12.99 a month the non-Prime yearly total is $155.88.
Two things make this the messiest record on the ledger. First, the Prime discount is only a discount if you were buying Prime anyway — otherwise the membership costs more than the saving. Second, amazon.com returned a 503 to us on 22 August 2026, and Amazon’s own newsroom page was still showing pre-increase figures ($10.99 a month, $109 a year) when we read it, which is why we did not print an annual number we could not stand behind.
